Singtel is Singapore's largest telecommunications group and traces its origins to a colonial telegraph service established in 1879. It operates mobile and fixed networks in Singapore and holds major stakes in operators across Asia including Optus and Bharti Airtel. The group also runs NCS, data centres and regional cybersecurity businesses.

Optus is a leading Telecommunications company known for delivering innovative solutions to customers, disrupting the industry, and evolving into a technology company with a diverse portfolio of products and services. As we continue to transform and grow, we're looking for a highly capable Executive Assistant to provide exceptional support to senior leaders and help drive organisational effectiveness.

What You'll Do

Partnering closely with multiple senior leaders and key stakeholders across Optus, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-level administrative and operational support to senior leadership team members, ensuring priorities are managed effectively.
  • Managing complex diaries, coordinating internal and external meetings, and arranging meeting rooms, catering, agendas, and supporting materials.
  • Supporting email management by prioritising communications, monitoring actions and ensuring timely responses to key requests.
  • Coordinating domestic and international travel, accommodation, itineraries and approvals in line with company policies.
  • Managing expense claims and administrative processes, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and deadlines.
  • Building strong relationships across Optus and with external stakeholders to facilitate effective collaboration and communication.
  • Producing high-quality presentations, reports, meeting papers and business documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Supporting team operations through activities such as event coordination, onboarding, organisational chart maintenance, purchase order administration, compliance tracking and broader team administration.
  • Acting as a trusted partner to leaders by proactively anticipating needs, identifying priorities and ensuring actions are completed in a timely manner.

What You'll Bring

  • Significant experience supporting senior executives in a fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Proven ability to maintain discretion and handle confidential information with professionalism.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
  • A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work independently.
  • Flexibility, resilience and the ability to thrive in an environment of constant change.
  • A collaborative approach and proven ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of an organisation.

The Good Stuff...

  • Competitive remuneration and employee discounts. Make life easier (and more affordable) with $80 monthly credit and 25% off Optus products and unique shopping discounts with our retail partners.
  • Flexible working arrangements with opportunities to work three days in the office and two days remotely.
  • Vibrant and collaborative office campus that includes cafes, convenience store, chill out zones, GP, post office, gym and on-site childcare centre.
  • Competitive leave policies, including additional Connected days to focus on culture, family, health, community, or whatever's important to you.
  • Inclusive, carer-neutral paid parental leave of up to 16 weeks.
  • Access to learning and development opportunities through Optus U and industry-focused micro-credentials.
  • Employee-led networks and diversity initiatives that help build meaningful connections across the business.
  • Free and confidential wellbeing support services available 24/7.

At Optus, we are strengthened by others and that means valuing diversity and embracing individual differences. We are committed to providing an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive, regardless of background, identity, or ability. If you require adjustments or accessibility support during the recruitment process, we're here to help.
