Singtel is Singapore's largest telecommunications group and traces its origins to a colonial telegraph service established in 1879. It operates mobile and fixed networks in Singapore and holds major stakes in operators across Asia including Optus and Bharti Airtel. The group also runs NCS, data centres and regional cybersecurity businesses.

Optus is an Australian telecommunications company, delivering more than 11 million services to our customers every day across mobile, broadband and digital solutions.

We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support a member of the Optus Executive Committee (ExCo). This is a pivotal role providing trusted executive support within a fast-paced and dynamic environment where confidentiality, professionalism and exceptional judgement are essential.

Working closely with the ExCo leader and broader leadership team, you will proactively manage priorities, anticipate needs, coordinate complex activities and play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office. You will also contribute to fostering a culture of collaboration, connection and engagement across the broader business unit.

What you'll do

  • Manage a complex executive diary, coordinating meetings and priorities across multiple stakeholders, locations and time zones.
  • Prepare high-quality meeting materials, presentations, briefing papers, agendas and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, ensuring seamless logistics and itinerary management.
  • Manage expenses, approvals and administrative processes in line with company policies and deadlines.
  • Partner closely with senior leaders, Executive Assistants and external stakeholders to effectively manage commitments and priorities.
  • Track actions, prepare meeting minutes, maintain business documentation and support key governance activities.
  • Support leadership events, offsites and business initiatives while driving process improvements and acting as a trusted administrative partner to the executive.

It starts with you!

  • Provide high-level executive support to an Optus Executive Committee (ExCo) leader, acting as a trusted partner in a fast-paced and highly confidential environment.
  • Manage complex diaries, stakeholder engagements, meetings, travel arrangements and executive priorities across multiple teams and locations.
  • Prepare executive communications, presentations, briefing papers, meeting agendas, minutes and other key business documentation.
  • Coordinate leadership events, offsites and business activities while ensuring seamless administrative and operational support.
  • Build strong relationships with senior leaders, Executive Assistants and external stakeholders to drive effective collaboration and outcomes.
  • Ideal candidate will have proven C-Suite/Executive-level support experience, exceptional organisational skills, strong attention to detail, sound judgement, discretion and advanced Microsoft Office capability.
  • Willing to work a minim of 4 days from the office.

The good stuff….

  • Competitive remuneration and employee discounts. Make life easier (and more affordable) with $80 monthly credit and 25% off Optus products and unique shopping discounts with our retail partners.
  • Flexible/Hybrid working arrangements.
  • Vibrant and collaborative office campus that includes cafes, convenience store, chill out zones, GP, post office, gym and on-site childcare centre.
  • Competitive leave policies, including additional 'Connected’ days to focus on culture, family, health, community, or whatever’s important to you.
  • We support growing families with inclusive, carer-neutral paid Parental Leave of up to 16 weeks.
  • Build meaningful connections through employee-led networks and diversity initiatives including Culture Connect, Elevate Women, Disability Network and Express Yourself (LGBTQIA+).
  • Put your wellbeing first with free access to counselling and support services, 24/7 - in-person, by phone, SMS, or video.
  • Free Optus bus from Macquarie University Metro Station (every 6-8 minutes); morning and afternoon.

At Optus, we are strengthened by others and that means valuing diversity and saying ‘yes’ to embracing individual differences.
