The Role

We’re looking for an Associate Lawyer to join our Research & Development Department, contributing to the legal innovation and strategic growth of the firm. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys legal research, and wants to be part of shaping the future of legal services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting in-depth legal research across multiple areas of law (Civil, Commercial, Banking, Administrative, Tax, Labor) using various sources (e.g., legal databases, websites)
  • Collecting and studying legal material (laws, articles, court decisions, etc.) and attending relevant seminars to support the drafting of legal articles.
  • Selecting legal topics for article writing and overseeing the editorial process, including final reviews prior to publication on the company website and LinkedIn.
  • Collaborating with the Legal teams to ensure timely resolution of legal matters and keeping our clients informed on the latest legal developments and regulatory updates

Requirements

To thrive in this role, you should bring:

  • A Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) - an LL.M. or MBA is a strong plus
  • Attorney-at-Law license in Greece
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a practicing attorney, ideally within a structured legal environment or law firm
  • Publications in academic journals will be considered a plus
  • Experience in a similar role within the Legal Department of a large organization is desirable
  • Strong legal writing and research skills
  • Analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM systems
