Job Description:
We are looking for a Customer Quality Assurance Manager to act as the key quality partner for our client’s customers. In this role, you will ensure that the company's products consistently meet customer expectations and regulatory standards, building trust and fostering long-term partnerships through effective quality management and communication.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary quality contact for customers, managing complex customer cases and inquiries.
- Translate customer requirements into internal standards, ensuring alignment across operations, R&D, regulatory, and sales teams.
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders to maintain long-term collaborations based on mutual trust.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements, while adhering to customer-specific needs.
- Monitor customer feedback and quality data to identify trends, translating insights into ongoing improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support innovation in customer quality assurance.
- Represent quality assurance in customer meetings, audits, and strategic discussions.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the overall Customer QA strategy.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Food Technology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in food, ingredients, or FMCG.
- Proven experience in a customer-facing QA role.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, quality systems, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at various levels.
- Analytical, structured, and results-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with digital tools and data-driven working; experience with CRM systems like Salesforce is a plus.
- Proactive, practical, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Fluency in Dutch and English is required.
Other Information:
This temporary maternity cover starts on 1 December 2026 and is suitable for mid- to senior-level candidates with hands-on QA experience. Customer QA involves bridging internal teams and customer needs, especially in food, ingredients, dairy, FMCG, or similar sectors. The role offers a 38-hour (or negotiable 32-hour) week with hybrid work; Tuesdays are in-office in Amersfoort. The selection involves one interview, and the maximum rate is €80/hour.
