Role Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior CAPEX Construction Project Manager to lead the on-site execution of industrial CAPEX projects. You will be responsible for coordinating contractors, managing site activities, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Lead on-site construction activities in line with project scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
- Manage contractors, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring compliance with safety and project requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to achieve project milestones.
- Oversee site logistics, permits, inspections, and daily construction activities.
- Monitor progress, manage risks, and resolve on-site issues.
- Support mechanical completion, commissioning, and project handover.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
- Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders and provide regular progress updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience managing industrial construction/CAPEX projects.
- Experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industrial environments is preferred.
- Proven experience managing contractors and construction sites.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety standards, and project controls.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Hands-on, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
