Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to oversee and lead the on-site execution of CAPEX construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget, while coordinating closely with all stakeholders involved.
Responsibilities
-Lead the on-site construction activities for CAPEX projects, ensuring proper execution according to scope, schedule, and budget.
-Manage contractors, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring compliance with safety, quality standards, and project specifications.
-Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and operational teams to meet project milestones and resolve technical issues.
-Oversee site logistics, permits, inspections, and quality assurance processes.
-Continuously monitor progress, report risks and performance metrics to stakeholders, and adjust plans as necessary.
-Support mechanical completion, commissioning, and handover to operations.
-Ensure all work complies with environmental, health, and safety regulations, as well as company policies.
-Coordinate stakeholder communication, work permits, and daily site meetings, acting independently and confidently while escalating issues when needed.
Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
-Minimum of 5 to 10 years' experience managing industrial construction CAPEX projects.
-Proven track record of safely delivering projects on time and within scope.
-Strong contractor management and site organization skills.
-Knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and project controls.
-Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
-Ability to work independently and handle multiple stakeholders effectively.
