Principal AI Architect

We are looking for an experienced technical architect who would define and deliver enterprise-scale AI architectures that translate business strategy into secure, scalable, and measurable outcomes. The role should provide technical leadership across Generative AI, Agentic AI, Machine Learning, and Multimodal AI systems, while ensuring responsible AI adoption aligned with governance, risk, and compliance standards.

We are looking for highly motivated candidates who will be part of the architecture team, and work closely with the Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Product, Business, Customer Success, Customer Experience, Operations teams, partners and vendors to understand the requirements and design the AI capabilities across multiple products. The candidate will be expected to define the AI architecture aligned with business requirements, identify high-value AI use cases and translate them into phased implementation roadmaps, and establish architectural standards for Generative AI, Agentic AI, and ML adoption.

The candidate is expected to use knowledge of AI architecture and best practices to design end-to-end architectures covering infrastructure, data pipelines, support AI governance frameworks, model risk management, ensure scalability, security, explainability, and cost efficiency, embed responsible AI principles including fairness, transparency, and robustness, and define reference architectures for cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design AI system architectures including RAG pipelines and agent frameworks.
• Evaluate and standardise AI platforms and tools.
• Oversee model development, validation, and production readiness.
• Ensure seamless integration with enterprise systems, APIs, and data platforms.
• Develop architectures catering to non-functional requirements like Performance, Reliability, Security, Usability, Scalability, Interoperability, and Maintainability.
• Localisation and Internationalisation, Compliance and Data Management.
• Write architectural design documents or review design documents.
• Communicate and coordinate with customers, partners and internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field from one of the premier institutions in India/abroad. IIT/IIIT/ISI/RECs would be preferred.
• 10 - 15 years of experience with 5+ years in the AI Technical and SoluCon architecture.
• Strong experience in ML, deep learning, and Generative AI is a must.
• Deep experience in integrating and training Large Language Models (LLMs), Large Multimodal Models (LMMs), Small Language Models (SLMs).
• Proven experience deploying enterprise-scale agenXc AI systems, including Model Context Protocol (MCP) client-host architecture.
• Experience in AgenCc Calling, Multimodal Agents, including vernacular support for Indian language, s would be an added plus.
• In-depth understanding of AI governance and ethics.
• Experience in training or fine-tuning AI/ML models for real estate construction and BIM design solutions.
• Hands-on experience with AI AgenCc calling, including Vernacular and English language support.
• Clear understanding of AI limitations and effective workarounds to avoid uncanny or inconsistent results, to avoid hallucinations.
• Experience performing AI-specific quality control, including fixing gesture issues, conXnuity problems, unnatural movements, and audio-visual mismatches.
• Ability to balance creative vision with technical constraints in fast-evolving AI environments.
• Knowledgeable in using CI/CD tools and DevOps technologies like Docker.
• Kubernetes, and Microservices with Cloud environments like AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Exposure to Real Estate Technology platforms, including ConstrucCon Management, is preferred.
• Broad, operational knowledge of application servers, databases, load balancers and other infrastructure components required to deploy web applications in a highly available and scalable environment.
• Acquainted to mulXple SQL, NoSQL, Vector, and Graph database technologies such as MongoDB, Couchbase, Cassandra, Redis, Neo4J, Oracle, SQL Server, Qdrant, Milvus, Pinecone, ChromaDB, etc.
• A strong foundation in developing AI applications and products supporting desktop, mobile, and tablet is a must.
• Adept at using design tools such as Diagrams.net, Lucidchart, PlantUML, Mermaid, etc.
