As a Move Coordinator, you will be the primary point of contact for employees relocating around the world, helping to coordinate the movement of their household goods and personal belongings. You will play a vital role in delivering a seamless relocation experience by guiding transferees through every stage of the move while ensuring exceptional service and support.
Working closely with clients, suppliers, moving partners, and internal teams, you will manage complex international and domestic relocations, resolve challenges proactively, and ensure every move is delivered efficiently and successfully. Your ability to build trusted relationships, stay organised, and deliver a great customer experience will have a direct impact on both our customers and our business.
In this role, you will:
Serve as the main point of contact for relocating employees throughout their moving journey
Build strong relationships with customers, providing proactive updates, guidance, and support
Manage customer enquiries, expectations, and service issues with professionalism and empathy
Coordinate domestic and international household goods shipments from origin to destination
Collaborate with relocation partners, moving agents, freight providers, customs authorities, and suppliers across the globe
Ensure all customer, shipment, financial, and supplier information is accurately maintained within company systems, ensuring data integrity and audit readiness
Proactively manage service exceptions, operational issues, and customer concerns, taking ownership through to resolution while maintaining regular communication
Monitor move progress against service commitments and KPIs, identify potential risks, and proactively resolve issues to minimise disruption in order to deliver a high level of service
Ensure all move-related documentation, records, and system updates are completed accurately and on time
Collaborate with billing, finance, suppliers, and agent partners to resolve discrepancies, support timely invoicing, and drive successful move outcomes
Support service quality goals and key performance indicators while maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction
Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance customer experiences, and contribute to operational excellence
GROW WITH INTENTION
What You'll Bring
Essential
Minimum 2 years' experience in freight forwarding, relocation, logistics, or a related industry, or 3+ years' experience in a customer service-focused environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English
Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail; including understanding of revenue, margins, basic math (calculate weight, density, CWT, rates, etc)
Strong customer service orientation with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong organisational and time management skills
Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with global stakeholders
Preferred
Experience within the global mobility, moving, relocation, or international shipping industry
Understanding of international logistics and household goods transportation processes
Knowledge of global geography and shipping routes
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
