You will be working in the Infrastructure function working on our Anglian Water Project. Through our role in the @one Alliance, we’re helping Anglian Water deliver a £2.6 billion investment in vital infrastructure. From civil works to water treatment facilities, this programme strengthens environmental protection across the East of England - safeguarding water resources for generations to come.
We are currently looking for an Assistant Logistics Manager who will develop compliant, safe and sustainable solutions for potable water and wastewater projects, supporting design from feasibility to detailed design in a collaborative Design and Build environment.
As the Assistant Logistics Manager, you will:
- Lead a team to coordinate project activities across all areas, ensuring high standards of safety, effective planning, smooth execution and regular performance review.
- Take responsibility for lifting operations, with high-level Appointed Person capability and a strong focus on safe and compliant delivery.
- Work collaboratively with other Assistant Managers, reporting to the Logistics Manager, to support logistics operations and the effective management of welfare compounds and site facilities across multiple projects.
- Carry out regular visits to multiple sites each week to monitor operations, maintain standards and support delivery teams.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with project teams, stakeholders and supply chain partners to enable efficient and collaborative delivery.
We are looking for:
- Hold, or be working towards, Lifting Appointed Person competence, ideally with A62 and A40 qualifications.
- Be able to plan, prioritise and deliver multiple projects while adapting to changing demands.
- Have good knowledge of plant, equipment, delivery vehicles and ground preparation requirements.
- Be confident using Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook, and able to work remotely when needed.
- Bring strong health and safety awareness, a full driving licence, and a proactive approach to innovation.
