You will be working in the Building Services OU where Skanska Building Services are experts in Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health (MEP) engineering. We have extensive experience of delivering a huge range of projects in a wide variety of sectors, including commercial, educational, Defence and Data Centres.
We are currently looking for a Electrical Construction Manager, in Cambridgeshire, who will lead the safe, efficient and professional delivery of the electrical works package during the construction phase of the project.
As the Electrical Construction Manager, you will:
- Lead the coordination of all electrical installation, testing and commissioning activities.
- Proactive management of Health and Safety on site. Work collaboratively with the project team and other trade contractors and subcontractors.
- Monitor project progress against programme milestones, identifying risks and opportunities. Support Lean Planning sessions, activity briefings and work plan reviews.
- Work with subcontractors to ensure timely preparation and implementation of RAMS, ITPs, permits, consents, quality checks and project records.
- Ensure all electrical certification, quality records, commissioning documentation and handover information are completed, reviewed and submitted.
- Oversee subcontractors, labour and material requirements for the contract and support Project Managers.
We are looking for:
- Recognised electrical qualification (technical or trade orientated).
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme).
- CSCS Management Card.
- Undertaken the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Proven experience in management/delivery of electrical installation projects within the construction, MEP or building services.
- Knowledge of electrical installation, testing and commissioning, with a sound understanding of regulations, industry standards and safe working practices
