Role Overview :
As an Engineering Manager, you will serve as a pivotal leader responsible for steering high-impact technical initiatives and fostering a culture of engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and mentor a team of talented engineers by providing technical guidance and career development support to ensure high team morale and productivity.
- Architect and oversee the development of scalable, high-performance backend services using Node.js to meet the evolving demands of our product ecosystem.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to translate business objectives into actionable technical roadmaps that drive measurable improvements in user engagement.
- Implement rigorous code quality standards and automated testing practices to minimize technical debt and ensure the long-term reliability of our infrastructure.
- Manage the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, from initial sprint planning to production deployment, ensuring timely releases that align with organizational goals.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by conducting regular architecture reviews and performance audits to optimize system efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and maintaining large-scale distributed systems with a deep proficiency in Node.js and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead and scale engineering teams, with a focus on fostering collaboration, resolving conflicts, and driving technical consensus across departments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities, with a track record of navigating ambiguity and making data-driven decisions in fast-paced environments.
- A solid foundation in computer science fundamentals, typically supported by a degree in Engineering or a related field from a premier institute.
- High adaptability to a hybrid work environment, maintaining effective communication and project oversight across distributed team members.
- 10 - 12 years of progressive experience in software engineering, with a significant portion spent in leadership roles managing complex product lifecycles.
