We are seeking a reliable and skilled Part-Time General Maintenance Technicianto support the operation, maintenance, and repair of facility systems and equipment at a federally contracted ICE residential facility located in Alexandria, Louisiana . The ideal candidate will possess experience in general building maintenance, basic repairs, and preventive maintenance while maintaining compliance with all safety and operational standards.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of facility maintenance, building maintenance, or related experience preferred.
- Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and understand work orders, maintenance manuals, and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, climbing, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repair of facility systems, equipment, and structures.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and identify potential maintenance concerns.
- Troubleshoot and repair minor mechanical, plumbing, and electrical issues.
- Maintain facility grounds and common areas as assigned.
- Replace light fixtures, ceiling tiles, door hardware, and other building components as needed.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair situations.
- Ensure compliance with facility safety standards, federal requirements, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Coordinate with facility management regarding repair needs and project priorities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
