Flight Control System Engineer

Role Overview

As a Pilot Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of the flight/pilot control system for our eVTOL aircraft. This role requires a strong project management background, technical expertise, and proficiency in supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute project plans for the flight/pilot control system, defining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, avionics, and software development, to ensure project alignment.
• Identify and engage with external suppliers for components related to the pilot control system.
• Monitor supplier performance, address any issues promptly, and collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee the testing and validation activities for the flight/pilot control system.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and suppliers to ensure project success.

Essential Skills

• Strong understanding of flight/pilot control systems and their integration into aircraft.
• Experience in supplier management and procurement processes.
• Experience with certification activities, such as ARP4754/ ARP4761 compliance

Desirable

• Experience in human interface design
• Understanding of avionics, flight control systems, and relevant aerospace technologies.
• Experience in identifying, selecting, and managing external suppliers for aerospace components.

• Probationary period: 3~6 month

Place of Employment

• Nagoya Airport Office: Nagoya Airport Terminal Building 2nd floor, Toyoba, Toyoyama-Cho, Nishikasugai, Aichi Prefecture

Working Hours

• Flextime or Discretionary labor system
  • In the case of flextime: No core time
  • Discretionary Labor System: Specialized Class Deemed working hours per day: 10 hours
• Basic working hours: Start 9:00 End 18:00（Including 1hour break time）
  • Overtime Work: Available

Holidays

• 115 days off per year（Saturday / Sundays / Newyear holidays（12/29～1/3） / Company designated holidays）
• Annual paid leave
• Refresh leave (Granted after 1, 3, 4, 5 years of service)

Salary

• Estimated Annual Salary: JPY 6,850,000- JPY 11,000,000
• Monthly Salary: JPY 571,000- JPY 916,000
  • Includes fixed overtime pay for 45 hours, amounting to JPY 197,680- JPY 331,997

    *Additional overtime pay will be provided for hours exceeding the fixed overtime.
