Principal Engineer

We are looking for a Principal Engineer with strong experience in building and scaling high-quality, scalable software products. The ideal candidate should have worked at strong product companies, preferably in B2B / B2B SaaS environments, and should have experience handling systems at meaningful scale.

Requirements:

• 7-8 years of strong software engineering experience with significant ownership of complex systems.
• Experience working with good product companies and preferably B2B / B2B SaaS companies.
• Strong understanding of system design, distributed systems, scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Experience working on products/platforms that operate at a meaningful scale: large user base, high traffic, high transaction volume, or a large enterprise/customer footprint.
• Strong problem-solving and architectural thinking.
• Ability to independently drive technical initiatives from design to production.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• AI/ML/GenAI experience is a strong plus, particularly experience building or integrating AI capabilities into production products.
• Candidates with strong Node.js + React.js experience are relevant; however, the technology stack is open to candidates with strong engineering fundamentals and relevant AI/product experience.

Profile 1 AI/ML Expertise:

• Candidates with strong hands-on expertise in AI/ML/GenAI models can come from any technology stack.
• Node.js + React.js is not mandatory for these candidates.
• Priority should be given to candidates who have worked on production-grade AI/ML systems, LLMs, GenAI, or AI-powered products.

Profile 2 Strong Software Engineering (Node.js + React.js ) No AI Expertise:

• If the candidate does not have AI/ML expertise, then Node.js + React.js experience is mandatory.
