Fuel Pump Technician

Smartflow Technologies Limited is a leading flow and level automation firm in Nigeria, known for delivering premium solutions at competitive prices with a high level of professionalism and technical expertise. In addition to its engineering focus, the company supplies, installs and supports fuelling systems and equipment, including pumps and dispensers.

We are currently hiring a Fuel Pump Technician for a full-time position based in Abuja (FCT).

• Install and maintain equipment used at retail filling stations.
• Diagnose and fix technical faults using suitable diagnostic methods and tools.
• Handle customer enquiries and explain problems and their solutions in a clear, understandable manner.
• Resolve technical issues directly and refer complicated cases to senior technicians or specialists.
• Keep precise records of faults, remedies applied and customer interactions.
• Add to and refresh the team knowledge base, passing on expertise to colleagues.
• Collaborate with colleagues in development, sales and marketing to settle technical matters.
• Take part in training and development to remain current on new technologies and products.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks to prevent future technical problems.
• Report on all activities to the supervisor promptly and appropriately.
• Liaise with team leads and the head of unit.

• OND, HND or B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with dispensing pumps and electric motors is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong cognitive and organizational abilities.
• Solid problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good understanding of relevant health and safety standards.
