Are you ready to turn your coding foundations into real-world impact? Smartly’s Launchpad Program is built for recent graduates in Computer Science or related fields who are eager to take their first step into full-time engineering. Over six months, you’ll gain hands-on experience, sharpen your skills, and contribute directly to the global platform powering the world’s largest online advertisers.

Here’s What You’ll Do at Smartly…
- Build with purpose: Contribute to product development used by millions of people, solving challenges that matter.
- Learn by doing: Work alongside experienced mentors and peers in real engineering teams.
- Level up your stack: Strengthen your skills in technologies like React, TypeScript, Node.js, and modern software practices.
- Make a difference: All Smartlies help customers directly by solving technical challenges, providing support, and improving our product at scale.
Here’s What We’re Looking For…
- Education: You’ve recently completed (or are about to complete) your degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience: You already have some coding experience from, for example, internships or summer jobs - you’re not starting from scratch.
- Learning mindset: You don’t need to know it all. Curiosity, problem-solving, and eagerness to grow matter most.
- Solid technical foundation: Familiarity with web technologies (React, Node.js, TypeScript), and testing practices.
- Full-time availability: This is a 37.5h/week program for the full 6 months. Applicants must be able to commit to the entire duration.
- Entry-level focus: This program is designed as a launchpad into your first permanent, full-time engineering role. If you already have several years of full-time industry experience, this program isn’t the right fit.
- English proficiency: Comfortable working in English, our company language.
- Helsinki presence: You’ll be based in our Helsinki office at least 3 days per week (hybrid model).

Program Details
- Apply by: 30.10.2026
- Process: Recruiter call → live coding interview → final interview with your future team manager.
- Start date: January 2027 (full-time, 37.5h/week).
- Duration: 6 months, with the opportunity for a permanent role afterward.
