In order to strengthen our Finance department with additional expertise, we are currently looking for a "Senior Group Reporting & Consolidation Specialist " for our office in Brussels.

Responsibilities
As Senior Group Reporting & Consolidation Specialist, you will take ownership of the Group consolidation process and support the production of accurate monthly and annual financial reporting.
You will act as a key business partner for local finance teams across Africa while helping strengthen reporting processes, financial governance, and data quality across the Group.
Financial Consolidation & Reporting
- Lead monthly and annual consolidation activities ;
- Consolidate the financial statements of more than 20 legal entities into Belgian GAAP standards ;
- Prepare and maintain consolidation schedules and supporting documentation ;
- Analyze consolidated financial performance, balance sheet movements, and cash flow variations ;
Financial Data Quality & Reconciliation
- Perform validation checks on financial data before consolidation ;
- Manage intercompany reconciliations and elimination processes ;
- Investigate reporting discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions with local finance teams ;
Audit & Financial Controls
- Support internal and external audit activities ;
- Prepare requested documentation and financial information ;
Master Data Governance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Group accounting policies and reporting standards ;
- Maintain Chart of Accounts mappings and reporting structures ;
- Manage finance master data across related systems ;
- Support finance users on reporting tools and financial systems ;
- Maintain reporting procedures and documentation.
Profile
- Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field ;
- 8 to 10 years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation, accounting, or financial controlling ;
- Fluent French and English are required ;
- Proven experience working in an international and multi-entity environment ;
- Experience with ERP and consolidation tools is highly desirable ;
- Advanced Excel skills ;
- Experience with LucaNet, Microsoft Navision, and/or Business Central is a strong advantage ;
- Solid analytical and financial modelling capabilities ;
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills ;
