Responsibilities:

  • Perform deep hands-on administration, monitoring, and operational support for Oracle Databases (19c, 26ai) hosted on Exadata Cloud Service (ExaCS) within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

  • Manage High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) architectures using Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Data Guard.

  • Administer storage structures, Automatic Storage Management (ASM), and Grid Infrastructure across enterprise database environments.

  • Execute database backup, restore, and point-in-time recovery strategies utilizing RMAN.

  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize database performance through AWR, ASH, and execution plan analysis.

  • Perform patch management, database upgrades, and cloud platform maintenance in alignment with enterprise change management processes.

  • Troubleshoot complex database incidents, root-cause failures, and collaborate with infrastructure and cloud teams to ensure continuous system reliability.

Skills:

  • 3-6 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database Administration within enterprise or cloud environments.

  • Deep technical expertise in Oracle Database 19c / 26ai.

  • Proven experience administering databases on Exadata Cloud Service (ExaCS) or Exadata hardware.

  • Core proficiency in Oracle RAC, Grid Infrastructure, and ASM.

  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Data Guard setup, failover/switchover processes, and disaster recovery architectures.

  • Advanced experience with RMAN for backup, recovery, and database cloning strategies.

  • Solid background in database performance tuning and diagnostics using AWR, ASH, and ADDM.

  • Experience operating within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments.

  • Fluent English communication skills for working in an international team setup.

Preferred Certifications

  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) - Oracle Database 19c or later.

  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect / Operations Professional Certification.

  • Oracle Exadata Database Machine / ExaCS Certified Specialist.
