The GTM Automation Engineer will be part of a highly collaborative environment where developers, testers and the business work together as a team to deliver the best possible Salesforce-based solutions using agile development. You are experienced with Salesforce.com, APEX and Sales and Marketing Automation systems. You are a problem solver with excellent execution and communication skills. You will use this experience to deliver the systems that will help Snyk in its rapid growth.

The GTM Automation Engineer takes ownership of tasks of increasing complexity (for example system design and implementation, advanced technical support requests). They complete tasks with minimal guidance and direction from others. They develop mastery in one or two technical areas, and begin to identify an area of specialization within CIS.

• Handles complex technical issues and escalates problems to higher-level support when necessary.
• Develops and implements support processes and procedures for improved efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborates with other CIS teams and with stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve system-wide issues, contributing to overall system and infrastructure improvements.

• Provides user support, training, and documentation to ensure effective utilization of systems & tools.

Specific Requirements for the GTM Automation Team:

• Develops Sales and Marketing automation solutions while partnering with stakeholders from the different departments that use Salesforce.com at Snyk
• Implements integrations between Salesforce.com and other systems that support our sales and marketing processes
• Figures out ways to "find the bug" utilizing top-notch troubleshooting techniques and all the tools and systems available within the GTM organization, and digging deep into code
• Identifies root causes, and fixes, and develop new debugging tools while working closely with product teams
• Analyzes and identifies gaps in functional and business requirements; discusses and elaborates with product owners on required changes that align with the SFDC stack and architecture
• Collaborates with team members to deliver high quality solutions in a timely manner
• Builds integrations between SFDC and external applications using REST APIs, Auth and Single Sign on, as well as Heroku Connect and other data management systems.

• Proficiency in understanding the relevant hardware and/or software technologies, including its features, functionalities, and capabilities.
• Knowledge of managing user profiles, roles, and permissions to ensure data security and appropriate access control.
• Ability to provide basic customization to end-users and/or clients within the relevant platform, system, or tool based on incoming requests.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues, both hardware and software-related, with a logical and systematic approach.
• Skilled in multitasking, prioritization, and managing projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to contribute to project success by coordinating tasks and resources.
• Advanced communication skills to interact with end-users, understand their IT-related problems, and provide effective technical support in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ability to summarize and communicate information of moderate complexity to peers and immediate team members.
• Takes ownership of assigned tasks and projects, seeking guidance when needed, and showing an emerging willingness to take initiative in contributing to strategic initiatives.
• Anticipates challenges before they arise and takes proactive steps to resolve after consulting with the team/manager.
• Demonstrates willingness to collaborate with team members and seek feedback from managers and senior colleagues. Begins to actively participate in cross-functional discussions.
• Shows adaptability to changing priorities and requirements in the strategic environment.
• Demonstrates a growing interest in learning about the industry, trends in technology, and business strategies.

• Beginning to offer creative solutions to challenges.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience working as a developer, and have a solid SFDC customization and configuration experience.

Specific Skills for GTM Automation:

• Have development experience with SFDC configuration using Apex, Lightning Components etc.
• Possess the ability to identify the best automation tool/framework/utility to implement a certain solution or a fix to ‘stop the bleeding’ but also have insight to recommend the long term solution with a keen eye on reducing tech-debt.
• Thoroughly understand the SFDC deployment processes.

• Have experience with Agile development methodologies and have worked as part of an agile development team.
• Have experience with Heroku, python or Node.js development and microservice architectures.
• Have coding experience and experience with the use of APIs to automate processes and integrate systems.
• Have experience with Salesforce CPQ.
• Have experience with Mulesoft.
