As a Senior Functional Tester, you are not just validating features - you are safeguarding quality, driving improvements, and shaping the way we test. You play a key role in ensuring our software meets the highest standards while collaborating closely with analysts, developers, and fellow testers across teams.
Your Role
As a Senior Functional Tester, you are responsible for ensuring the functionality, reliability, and overall quality of new and existing features within Miles.
You will:
Design, document and execute functional test scenarios and test cases
Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into structured test approaches
Detect, document and follow up on defects in close collaboration with development teams
Contribute to test automation initiatives and help improve automation frameworks
Support integration, regression, and performance testing activities
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases
Safeguard QA standards, best practices and contribute to continuous improvement
Take ownership of testing initiatives within your domain
As you grow further in this role, you will:
Lead testing efforts across projects or domains
Define and improve quality standards and testing strategies
Mentor junior testers and share best practices
Strengthen automation and performance testing capabilities within the team

We’d love to see the following aspects as well:
Several years (5+ preferred) of experience in functional testing within an enterprise software product environment
Proven experience testing complex platforms (ERP systems experience is a strong plus)
Strong knowledge of test design techniques and structured testing methodologies
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
Familiarity with integration testing and performance/load testing
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate closely with both business and technical stakeholders
Leadership mindset with mentoring capabilities
Experience working in an Agile setup
Fluent in English, as we are an international and multicultural company
