Netapp Engineer(Looking for someone from Network Background)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Managing & Administering NetApp platforms

• Perform and record daily checks on all the NetAppdevices as per inventory

• Provisioning of SAN and NAS, including SAN Zoning.Perform capacity management, optimization and sustainable operations in theallocation and utilization of infrastructure resources

• Participates in preventive maintenance

• Replication (Snapmirror)

• Troubleshooting and maintenance

• Perform Clustered ONTAP® and firmware upgrades andrecommendations, including SAN switches

• Storage and data management system monitoring byusing Unified Manager and OCI

• Participates in a weekly or bi-weekly project statusmeeting

• On-site diagnostics and replacement of hardwarecomponents

• PM and PS coordination for any potential projects

• SAM coordination for any P1 issue

• Ability to work beyond business hours and weekendsfor work contingencies, if required
