Senior iOS Engineer

We are looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to develop and enhance mobile banking applications. You will take ownership of core features, contribute to architectural decisions, and collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver secure, reliable, and intuitive banking experiences.

Job description

• Deliver core features and modules for native iOS banking applications using Swift;
• Contribute to application architecture and technical design, ensuring maintainability, security, and scalability;
• Integrate backend services and manage asynchronous communication, ensuring reliable data handling and responsive user experiences;
• Improve application performance, usability, and stability through testing, debugging, and troubleshooting;
• Work with product owners, designers, backend engineers, and QA specialists to clarify requirements and resolve complex technical challenges;
• Contribute to Agile planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement, sharing expertise and supporting engineering quality across the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of iOS development experience and advanced proficiency in Swift;
• Deep knowledge of iOS architectures, design patterns, development tools, and SDKs, with practical experience in asynchronous server communication and UX optimisation;
• Proven ability to lead the planning and delivery of core application features and modules;
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to investigate complex problems and drive them to resolution;
• Experience working in Agile, cross-functional teams and independently researching and clarifying requirements;
• Fluent English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate technical decisions clearly.

Salary:

• For employees: 5 300 EUR to 7000 EUR monthly (gross).
• For contractors: 38 EUR to 45 EUR per hour (plus VAT).
