We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to develop and enhance mobile banking applications. You will take ownership of core features, contribute to architectural decisions, and collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver secure, reliable, and intuitive banking experiences.

Job description

• Design, develop, and maintain native Android banking applications using Kotlin and Java;

• Take ownership of core features, from requirements analysis and technical design through implementation and release;
• Integrate RESTful APIs and work with local SQL databases, ensuring secure and reliable data handling;
• Improve application performance, usability, and stability through testing, debugging, and troubleshooting;
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, backend engineers, and QA specialists to clarify requirements and deliver seamless banking journeys;
• Contribute to architectural decisions, code reviews, and Agile planning, sharing expertise and improving development practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Android development experience, including extensive hands-on work with the Android SDK;
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java, with a solid understanding of Android application architecture and lifecycle;
• Practical experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with SQL databases;
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex application issues;
• Proficiency with Git and experience working in cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies;
• Fluent English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate technical decisions clearly.

Salary:

• For employees: 5 300 EUR to 7000 EUR monthly (gross).
• For contractors: 38 EUR to 45 EUR per hour (plus VAT).
