ENGINEERING MANAGER - CANVAS (LOW-CODE RAD PLATFORM)

About the Role :
We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the development of Canvas, a next-generation Low-Code RAD platform that enables business teams to configure banking products through governed metadata rather than hardcoded logic.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and mentor frontend, backend and platform engineering teams.
- Own technical architecture, engineering roadmaps and delivery.
- Drive visual-editor performance and micro-frontend architecture.
- Build metadata-driven execution engines and JSON-based configuration models.
- Lead architecture discussions, code reviews and complex technical problem-solving.
- Collaborate with Product, Design and Project teams.
Mandatory Technical Skills :
- Low-Code / No-Code platforms, RAD tools, workflow builders or visual editors.
- Strong frontend expertise in React and Angular.
- Micro-frontends (Single-SPA preferred).
- Redux / Zustand / NgRx.
- Backend : Java, Spring Boot and Hibernate.
- Metadata/schema-driven execution engines and JSON configuration.
- Workflow orchestration : Camunda (BPMN) or Temporal.
- Strong system design, architecture and engineering leadership.
Good to Have :
- React Flow, GoJS, XState or similar graph-rendering libraries.
- Business Rule Engines (BRE).
- Go, KrakenD or integration gateways.
- CRDTs, Yjs, Automerge or WebSockets.
- AI/LLM and Agentic AI integrations.
Important Hiring Criteria :
- Candidates must be based in Hyderabad.
- 10+ years of overall IT experience.
- Minimum 3+ years of Engineering Management experience.
- Strong career stability is mandatory.
- 3 - 4 interview rounds, including one mandatory Face-to-Face (FTF) round.
