Product Functional Consultant - SAP CX & eCommerce

Requirements

The Functional Product Consultant SAP CX & eCommerce is responsible for translating business requirements into functional solutions across the SAP Customer Experience portfolio, supporting digital commerce, sales, service, and customer engagement initiatives.

Must Have:

• 4-8 years of experience as a Functional Consultant, Business Analyst, or Product Consultant in SAP CX solutions.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Commerce Cloud and at least one additional SAP CX solution (SAP Sales Cloud V2, SAP Service Cloud V2, or SAP Emarsys).
• Strong experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
• Knowledge of eCommerce processes including catalog management, pricing, promotions, checkout, and order management.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Must be based in Mexico.

Nice to Have:

• Experience across the complete SAP CX suite.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, and API integrations.
• SAP CX certifications.
• Experience supporting global or multinational implementations.
• Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence.

Responsibilities

The consultant will act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring successful delivery of customer experience and eCommerce solutions.

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Support implementations and enhancements in SAP Commerce Cloud, Sales Cloud V2, Service Cloud V2, and Emarsys.
• Collaborate with technical teams to define integrations and solution designs.
• Participate in testing activities, including test planning, execution, defect validation, and UAT coordination.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and requirement sessions.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend best practices.
• Ensure solution quality, traceability, and alignment with business objectives.

Required Languages

• English: Advanced (B2+/C1) - Mandatory.

The candidate must be able to communicate effectively with global stakeholders, conduct workshops, document requirements, and participate in client-facing discussions in English.
