In this strategically important leadership role, you will help ensure that security remains as a trusted business enabler, allowing Solita to grow sustainably while managing risks, meeting stakeholder expectations, and maintaining the confidence of our customers, employees, and owners. 

What is the role

In this role, you will get on opportunity to take on a company-wide leadership role and shape and coordinate information security across countries and business areas. As Solita is an innovative tech-company, you will be on the front row seat on emerging technology and security development.

You will work closely with stakeholders at all levels, from technical experts to senior business leaders, to ensure security practices support Solita's business objectives, customer commitments, and risk appetite.

What are the responsibilities

•    Own and lead information security across the Solita Group, ensuring security risks are managed in line with the company's risk appetite and business objectives.
•    Define, drive, and continuously evolve Solita's security strategy and roadmap in collaboration with business leaders, customers, and technology teams.
•    Maintain compliance with customer commitments, legal and regulatory requirements, industry certifications, and stakeholder expectations, including those of company owners.
•    Lead and develop Solita's security team, with responsibility for security governance, risk and compliance, security monitoring, and incident response.
•    Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing guidance on cybersecurity risks, emerging threats, investment priorities, and strategic decision-making.
•    Champion security as a business enabler that supports growth, innovation, customer trust, and competitive advantage.
•    Continuously enhance Solita's security capabilities, ensuring they remain risk-based, scalable, efficient, and aligned with the evolving threat landscape.

This role requires close collaboration across multiple geographies and functions. You will play a key role in supporting Solita's sustainable growth by balancing security, business needs, customer expectations, and operational efficiency.

What you have:

•    Relevant education and professional experience in information security, risk management, cybersecurity, or a related field.
•    Proven experience leading and developing teams of security experts and subject matter experts.
•    Strong knowledge of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), particularly ISO 27001, and enterprise risk management practices.    
•    Communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain security risks and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
•    A demonstrated ability to build trust, influence decision-making, and foster security awareness across an organization.
•    Fluency in English is required. Nordic language skills are beneficial but not mandatory.
•    A pragmatic and business-oriented mindset, with the ability to balance risk mitigation, operational efficiency, and business objectives.What is nice to have:
•    Experience working in an international business environment.
•    Experience from technology consulting, software development, or other technology-driven businesses.
•    Experience working with customer-facing security programs, audits, and compliance requirements.
