Solvay is a Belgian chemical company headquartered in Brussels that produces essential chemicals such as soda ash and bicarbonate, peroxides, silica, rare earths and specialty products for consumer goods, construction, agriculture, automotive and industrial markets. Founded in 1863 by Ernest Solvay, it is listed on Euronext Brussels and Paris and, after the 2023 separation of its specialty business into Syensqo, employs around 9,000 people at production sites worldwide. It hires research and innovation leaders, process safety and maintenance engineers, planning and inspection technicians, SAP leads, supply chain interns and German apprentices in automation.

This is where our true strength lies. In you. In your future colleagues and in all your differences. And of course, in your ideas to improve lives while preserving our planet’s beauty for the generations to come.

About the role

  • Manage Daily Logistics Operations: Organize and control the maintenance of logistics installations and equipment; provide professional guidance on dangerous goods transportation; monitor logistics-related product conformity and propose targeted solutions for non-conformity issues.
  • Supplier & SLA Management: Track the performance of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) negotiated with suppliers and subcontractors, implement timely corrective actions when deviations occur, and follow up on service provider performance continuously.
  • Logistics Procurement & Contract Collaboration: Provide technical specifications for logistics services and equipment procurement to the purchasing team; collaborate with the purchasing function to sign contracts for raw material import and customer delivery logistics resources; identify and drive logistics improvement opportunities.
  • Material Planning & Supply Reliability: Cooperate closely with cross-functional teams to execute material planning, guarantee stable and reliable supply to customers and support smooth business operations.

We offer a permanent contract with a hybrid working mode based in Taiwan (Tainan or Taipei).

About you

Relevant education degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related fields. 3-5 years of relevant work experience in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.

Competencies:

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills to coordinate with multiple stakeholders in both ongoing operations and new project phases
  • Fluent in written and spoken Chinese and English; additional language proficiency is a distinct advantage

Behaviors:

  • Hands-on, pragmatic and highly organized with strong execution capabilities
  • Customer-centric mindset, prioritizing customer satisfaction and demand fulfillment
  • Open-minded and solution-oriented, especially when cooperating with suppliers or resolving operational issues

About the pay

Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
