As the Transmission Line Project Engineering Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
Lead a multi-discipline team of engineers and technicians
Manage diverse and challenging projects across a portfolio of design services and EPC programs
Oversee design quality, budget, and schedule

Develops and manages budget, schedule, and quality requirements across multiple disciplines for assigned projects
Actively manages project changes directly with the Client in coordination with the Project Manager
Reviews lower-level engineering work or assignments; may serve as the engineer of record for assigned projects
Builds strong working relationships with project leadership, design teams, and support staff
Communicates client interests and drivers to project team members and develops approaches to accommodate these concerns
Provides support to business development and pursuit activities
Occasional travel to support site visits, design reviews, and client meetings
Consistently and independently applies knowledge while complying with company quality programs
Ensures client and industry standards are maintained on assigned projects
Provides guidance, mentorship, and direction to team members
Experience managing Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) or design services overhead transmission line projects for investor-owned utilities in the United States
Eight years of experience in high-voltage overhead transmission line design with strong understanding of PLS-CADD, line routing, structural loading design, foundation design, and overall project lifecycle
Excellent communication skills and an interest in engaging with clients to grow relationships
Advanced knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standards
Working knowledge of interdisciplinary project coordination: procurement, subcontract administration, permitting, real estate and land acquisition, and construction support
Familiarity with proposal processes and developing engineering estimates
- P.E. License highly preferred
Bachelors degree in engineering from an accredited program (domestically or internationally)
Minimum of 8 years related work experience
Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements, which may include background checks, drug screening, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Certifications
Most positions require professional registration or licensure in the designated home office country, or active pursuit of such registration. Additional licenses may be required for assignments in other regions. Exceptions may be considered by division management.
