Production Worker

Pay Rate: $24.37/hr. - $0.75 shift differential for 2nd

Shift: 2nd (2:45pm-11pm)

While reporting to theShift Supervisor,as the Packer/Production Worker/Laborer, youwill be responsible forcollaborating and contributing to the production environment within our manufacturing operations. Safety, quality, productivityandstrongwork ethic are important to the Sonoco culture.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Collaborating closely with departments and plant teams to complete basic manufacturing

• Packs product into boxes, retrieves product from equipment and operates machinery

• Making incremental process adjustments, monitor and report quality of manufactured products

• Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to setup new production jobs

• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area

• Assists other departments as needed

• You have previous manufacturing experience and/or training.

• Read and comprehend standard work instructions, math and measuring

• Arrive to work on time with a strong attendance record.
