Sony Group is a Japanese conglomerate founded in Tokyo in 1946 by Masaru Ibuka and Akio Morita, which grew from transistor radios and the Walkman into one of the broadest entertainment and technology businesses in the world. Its largest profit engine is PlayStation, run by Sony Interactive Entertainment, followed by a music division holding some of the biggest recorded and publishing catalogues, Sony Pictures, and the Alpha camera and Bravia display lines. Less visible but strategically central is its semiconductor arm, which supplies the majority of the world's smartphone image sensors, alongside a substantial financial services business in Japan.

At Sony Music Publishing (“SMP”), we believe every voice matters. We are the #1 global music publisher, advancing the artistry of the world’s greatest songwriters and composers for over 25 years. Our roster benefits from an international team committed to providing support at every career stage. From classic catalogues to contemporary hitmakers, history is always being written. We are a part of the Sony family of global companies. Learn more about SMP at https://www.sonymusicpub.com/en.
