Job Title : Data Engineer - AWS Glue
Location : Chennai or Hyderabad
Experience : 6 12 years
About the Role :
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines on the AWS platform. The role focuses on building scalable data ingestion and transformation solutions using AWS Glue and related services, ensuring data quality and reliability for downstream analytics.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue.
- Create complex data transformation logic with Python and PySpark.
- Manage AWS Glue components including Jobs, Crawlers, Data Catalog, Workflows, Triggers, and Job Bookmarks.
- Build data pipelines that ingest data from Amazon S3, databases, APIs, and other sources.
- Integrate AWS Glue with Amazon S3, Redshift, RDS, Athena, Lambda, IAM, and CloudWatch for endtoend data processing.
Required Skills :
- Strong experience with AWS Glue (Jobs, Crawlers, Data Catalog, Workflows, Triggers, Job Bookmarks).
- Proficiency in Python and PySpark for data transformation.
- Handson experience building data pipelines using Amazon S3, relational databases, and APIs.
- Ability to integrate AWS services such as Redshift, RDS, Athena, Lambda, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- Solid understanding of scalable ETL/ELT design patterns on cloud infrastructure.
