Senior React Native & Electron Developer

We are looking for a Senior React Native & Electron Developer to design, build, and maintain high-quality applications across mobile (iOS & Android) and desktop (Windows, macOS, Linux) platforms.

In this role, you will take ownership of application architecture, lead technical decisions, and collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver scalable, performant, and reliable cross-platform products.

This is a highly collaborative position that requires strong technical expertise, autonomy, and a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain cross-platform applications using React Native (mobile) and Electron (desktop).

• Build pixel-perfect, smooth, and responsive UIs across mobile and desktop platforms.

• Define and enforce best practices related to code quality, architecture, and performance.

• Leverage native APIs and system capabilities for deeper integrations on mobile and desktop.

• Diagnose and resolve complex bugs and performance bottlenecks.

• Lead and support technical decisions, code reviews, and mentoring of other developers when needed.

• Collaborate with backend, product, and design teams to ensure seamless integrations.

• Maintain clean, well-documented code and ensure high test coverage.

• Stay up to date with the React, React Native, and Electron ecosystems.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with React Native in production environments.

• Proven experience building desktop applications with Electron.

• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Solid understanding of application architecture, state management, and performance optimization.

• Strong experience working with third-party libraries and debugging dependency conflicts.

• Experience consuming REST APIs and handling offline storage.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and build processes for mobile and desktop apps.

• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of technical decisions.

Nice to have

• Experience migrating web or desktop applications to Electron.

• Experience transitioning React web apps to React Native.

• Knowledge of security best practices for desktop and mobile applications.

• Experience working in distributed or remote teams.
