SpaceX is an American aerospace manufacturer and launch services provider founded by Elon Musk in 2002 with the goal of making life multiplanetary. It developed the reusable Falcon 9, now by far the most flown orbital rocket in the world, the Dragon capsule that carries NASA astronauts to the International Space Station, and Starship, the fully reusable super-heavy vehicle intended for lunar and Mars missions. The company also operates Starlink, a satellite constellation of thousands of spacecraft providing broadband to consumers, aircraft, ships and militaries, which has become its largest source of revenue.

SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.

At SpaceX we’re leveraging our experience in building rockets and spacecraft to deploy Starlink, the world’s most advanced broadband internet system. Starlink is the world’s largest satellite constellation and is providing fast, reliable internet to 12M+ users worldwide. We design, build, test, and operate all parts of the system - thousands of satellites, consumer receivers that allow users to connect within minutes of unboxing, and the software that brings it all together. We’ve only begun to scratch the surface of Starlink’s potential global impact and are looking for best-in-class engineers to help maximize Starlink’s utility for communities and businesses around the globe.

As a Sr. Electrical Engineer on the Starlink team, you will be responsible for electrical hardware failure analysis, PCBA reliability, and quality of the PCBA production process. This is a high-visibility, hands-on role and engineers on this team are responsible for solving systemic production issues, running root cause of failures from end to end, and working to drive process changes for continually improving product quality. • Experience with Wi-Fi standards (802.11ax, 802.11ac, 802.11n)
  • Experience with engineering projects in any one or more of the following areas: CPU/FPGA/ASIC circuit boards, linux, high-speed interfaces, memories, and/or low-power platforms
  • Experience with Mentor Graphics Xpedition
  • Experience presenting findings to engineering, production, and supply chain teams on a regular basis to drive corrective action
