About the roles
Spiecapag have been engaged for a scope of works that encompasses the full Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) of a new pipeline to support the development of a new shipyard. Works include the installation of a 3.9klm buried pipeline, including a 660m HDD beneath the Port Adelaide River, as well as the construction of associated facilities.
Located in Osborne, South Australia we are now seeking experienced Welding Trade Assistantsto join the team. Ideally we are looking to engage suitably experienced Adelaide locals for these roles.
Responsibilities
- General Trade Assistant duties including site preparation and work area set-up, including positioning of materials, tools and equipment
- Inspection of tools and equipment, reporting any faults or damage
- Operation of Grinders
- Maintain tidy work area
- Always follow all site safety procedures
About you
- Generic Construction Induction White Card
- Current Drivers’ License
- Demonstrated experience in a construction, industrial or maintenance environment as a Trades Assistant working with Welders
- Ability to safely handle materials, tools and equipment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
