You'll own Sprinto's global tax operations across direct tax, indirect tax, and cross-border compliance, ensuring we stay compliant while enabling the business to move quickly and confidently. From working with external advisors and regulators to partnering with Finance, Legal, and Leadership, you'll help build a tax function that's scalable, resilient, and ready for the next phase of Sprinto's growth.

Where you'll leave your mark?

• Build a global tax engine - Design and strengthen tax processes that scale with Sprinto's international growth, ensuring compliance keeps pace with business expansion-not the other way around.
• Turn complexity into clarity - Navigate direct tax, indirect tax, withholding tax, and cross-border regulations across multiple jurisdictions, translating evolving regulations into practical business decisions.
• Be the trusted voice on tax - Partner with Finance, Legal, and business leaders to provide commercial guidance on new markets, entity structures, contracts, and strategic initiatives-bringing tax into decisions before it becomes a problem.
• Keep Sprinto audit-ready - Lead statutory, tax, and regulatory audits with confidence, building strong controls and governance that create trust with auditors, regulators, and leadership alike.
• Build systems, not spreadsheets - Continuously improve compliance processes, reporting, and automation so the tax function becomes more scalable, efficient, and resilient as Sprinto grows.
• Help shape the finance organisation - Contribute beyond tax by collaborating on month-end close, financial reporting, and strategic finance initiatives, gaining exposure to how a global SaaS finance function operates end-to-end.

The kind of builder we're looking for -

• You've spent the last 4-6 years building your expertise as a Chartered Accountant and are looking for an opportunity to own tax in a fast-growing global business.
• You've worked across direct and indirect taxation, and enjoy solving cross-border tax challenges rather than operating within a single jurisdiction.
• Whether you've built your career in a Big 4, consulting firm, or a SaaS/product company, you enjoy translating complex regulations into practical business decisions.
• You're naturally curious about how businesses grow, and enjoy partnering with Finance, Legal, and Operations to solve commercial problems-not just compliance ones.
• You think in systems. You're always looking for ways to improve processes, strengthen controls, and automate repetitive work rather than simply maintaining the status quo.
• You communicate with clarity and confidence, whether you're working with consultants, auditors, regulators, or business leaders.
• You're comfortable navigating ambiguity, balancing multiple priorities, and making thoughtful decisions in a fast-moving, remote-first environment.
• You enjoy learning. Whether it's global tax frameworks, new regulations, ERP systems, or AI-powered finance workflows, you're always looking for better ways to work.

Experience with transfer pricing, international tax structures, ERP platforms such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP, or exposure to strategic finance and revenue recognition will help you hit the ground running-but we're ultimately looking for someone who combines strong technical judgment with a builder's mindset.
