Job Summary
The Salesforce Developer will support the development, enhancement, and ongoing optimization of our Salesforce Sales Cloud environment, delivering scalable, high-quality CRM solutions for global sales operations. This role involves working independently with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and enterprise IT teams to translate requirements into effective Salesforce capabilities. In addition to hands-on Sales Cloud development and configuration, the ideal candidate will have strong experience in system integrations, API-based connectivity, and middleware solutions to ensure seamless data exchange and efficient business processes across enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Development & Sales Cloud Configuration
Develop, enhance, and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Salesforce Flow.
Configure and extend Sales Cloud capabilities, including lead management, account and contact management, opportunity management, sales processes, and forecasting.
Design and optimize sales workflows, including lead conversion, opportunity tracking, approval processes, and pipeline management.
Develop and maintain custom objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules, and workflow automation.
Translate business requirements into technical designs and deliver scalable solutions aligned with Salesforce architecture and development best practices.
Troubleshoot technical issues, develop unit tests, and support deployments and continuous platform improvements.
Enterprise Integrations & Technical Delivery
Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations between Salesforce and internal enterprise systems or third-party applications.
Work with REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Change Data Capture (CDC), External Objects, and other Salesforce integration patterns.
Collaborate with enterprise IT teams on middleware-based integrations and data synchronization across business applications.
Ensure integration reliability, data consistency, security, performance, and appropriate error handling.
Participate in technical design reviews, system testing, release management, and deployment activities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Sales, Commercial Excellence, Operations, Product Owners, and IT stakeholders to improve sales processes and CRM capabilities.
Provide technical guidance on Salesforce functionalities, integration options, and platform limitations.
Collaborate with external implementation partners and globally distributed teams to support consistent Salesforce development practices.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including practical experience delivering or supporting Salesforce Sales Cloud solutions in an enterprise environment.
Strong development skills in Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flow, and Salesforce APIs.
Solid understanding of Sales Cloud capabilities, particularly lead management, opportunity management, forecasting, and sales process automation.
Experience developing, maintaining, or troubleshooting integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
Good understanding of Salesforce data models, security architecture, sharing rules, profiles, and permission sets.
Ability to independently analyze business requirements, propose technical solutions, and deliver implementations.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, Sales Cloud Consultant, or Salesforce Administrator.
Experience with enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations across multiple countries or business units.
Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms such as MuleSoft or Boomi, and event-driven integration patterns (Platform Events / CDC).
Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated deployment tools.
Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP, finance, marketing, or analytics platforms.
Knowledge of asynchronous processing, Salesforce integration security, and API-based connectivity.
Experience collaborating with external system integrators and globally distributed development teams.
