Job Description :
We are looking for a highly experienced Principal Data Scientist to join our growing Healthcare AI team.
This role is ideal for professionals passionate about building cutting-edge AI solutions in the healthcare domain using LLMs, NLP, ASR, Generative AI, and Cloud technologies.
As part of our innovation team, you will work on AI-powered products that help automate clinical documentation, improve healthcare workflows, and enhance patient care outcomes for healthcare providers in the US.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI-driven healthcare applications using NLP, ASR, and Generative AI
- Build and fine-tune transformer-based models such as GPT, BERT, LLaMA, T5, Whisper, etc.
- Develop speech-to-text and clinical documentation AI solutions
- Work on conversational AI, summarization, and intelligent healthcare automation
- Deploy scalable AI models on AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms
- Implement RAG architectures, LangChain, vector databases, and OpenAI APIs
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and healthcare teams to deliver production-ready AI systems
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards such as HL7, FHIR, and HIPAA
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to AI innovation initiatives
Required Skills
- 7+ years of experience in AI/ML, NLP, ASR, or Generative AI
- Strong expertise in Python, PyTorch, and TensorFlow
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and transformer-based models
- Experience with Speech Recognition models such as Whisper, wav2vec, DeepSpeech, etc.
- Strong understanding of NLP, embeddings, RAG, and vector databases
- Experience with LangChain and OpenAI APIs
- Cloud deployment experience on AWS/Azure/GCP
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and MLOps practices
- Exposure to healthcare integrations using FHIR / HL7 is highly preferred
