Role overview

We are looking for a Senior Product Owner to drive the vision, roadmap, and delivery of digital banking products for our customers and partners' customers. You will own the product backlog for one or more digital banking initiatives working closely with engineering, UX, compliance, and senior stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and user-centric solutions that go directly into production.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Owning and continuously refining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for digital banking products.
• Translating business goals and customer needs into a clear, prioritized product backlog.
• Writing detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications for the development team.
• Acting as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders, engineering teams, UX/UI designers, and compliance/risk functions.
• Leading sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Prepare user stories and acceptance criteria that can be directly used by design, development and QA teams.
• Monitoring product performance post-launch using KPIs and customer feedback, iterating based on data.
• Managing stakeholder expectations and communicating roadmap changes, trade-offs, and delivery timelines clearly.
• Review delivered functionality and support UAT and business acceptance.

To excel in this role, you'll need:

• Solid track record in Retail or Business Digital Banking.
• Background as a Product Owner, Business Product Manager, Senior Business Analyst, or Banking Subject Matter Expert.
• Working knowledge of core digital banking domains, including payments and transfers, accounts and deposits, cards, customer onboarding, lending, authentication and security, corporate/business banking services, and self-service banking journeys.
• Skilled at translating a high-level business need into a fully detailed functional specification the delivery team can build from.
• Comfortable pushing back on requirements, spotting gaps or edge cases, and making pragmatic product trade-offs.
• Confident communicator, equally at ease working with business stakeholders, designers, and engineers.
