Technical Consulting Manager - Account Lead

We’re looking for a technically strong, thoughtful and collaborative personality who can guide one of our major enterprise engagements, support our SQUERies in the clients context and co-create sustainable solutions with our client.

Your tasks

• Technical Ownership: Responsibility for technical direction, architectural alignment and overall delivery coherence across a large enterprise engagement (including planning and monitoring projects, budgets and operational metrics).
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Close alignment with multiple engineering teams to ensure shared understanding, consistent quality and smooth execution.
• Technical Sparring: High-level exchange with engineers, architects and senior stakeholders to bring clarity into complex technical environments.
• Enterprise Navigation: Confident handling of large organisations, legacy landscapes and multi-layered stakeholder structures.
• Capability Alignment: Identification of new opportunities, expansion within the engagement to enable cross- and upselling - matching them with the right SQUER expertise.
• Stakeholder Partnership: Direct interaction with key client stakeholders up to C-Level, providing technical orientation and decision-support.
• Delivery Stability: Structured oversight of capacity, forecasting and budgets to ensure a reliable, high-quality delivery environment

Your qualifications

• Technical Depth: Strong background in software engineering, architecture or enterprise-scale systems, with the seniority to guide others.
• AI-native: You actively use AI-powered tools (e.g., code assistants, LLM-based workflows) to amplify your productivity and quality.
• Enterprise Experience: Familiarity with large organizational structures such as insurance or banking, and their operational dynamics.
• Systems Understanding: Ability to grasp complex technical landscapes, dependencies, risks and constraints in multi-team setups.
• Opinionated Leadership: You bring a strong, well-reasoned point of view on architecture and organizational setup - not afraid to take a stance, challenge existing patterns, and guide the client toward better decisions.
• Communication Excellence: Ability to articulate technical topics clearly, confidently, and audience-appropriately - fluently in German and English.
• Collaborative Influence: Leadership through clarity, alignment, and technical guidance rather than formal authority - enabling teams and stakeholders to move in the same direction.
• Partnership Mindset: Commitment to long-term collaboration, team cohesion, and sustainable technical impact.
