Sr. Architectural Engineer (English)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Architectural Engineer to join our technical team and oversee architectural design development, technical drawings, and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and developing architectural shop drawings, as-built drawings, and construction details, ensuring compliance with approved designs, project specifications, applicable codes, and quality standards.

This role requires strong technical expertise, advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit, and the ability to coordinate effectively with architectural, structural, MEP, and BIM teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, develop, and coordinate architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, layouts, and construction details.
• Prepare, review, and approve architectural shop drawings and as-built drawings in accordance with approved designs and project requirements.
• Review architectural design documents, technical specifications, and contract drawings to identify discrepancies, missing information, and potential design conflicts.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, BIM, and other technical disciplines to identify and resolve clashes and ensure design consistency.
• Ensure architectural drawings comply with applicable building codes, authority requirements, project specifications, and established quality standards.
• Review and incorporate technical comments, RFIs, site observations, and approved design changes into drawings and documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and support to drafting and technical team members to ensure drawing accuracy and timely delivery.
• Coordinate with the Technical Manager and relevant stakeholders to resolve design discrepancies and recommend practical technical solutions.
• Monitor drawing revisions, document control, submission status, and approval records to maintain accurate project documentation.
• Support the preparation and review of technical submissions, material-related drawings, construction details, and other architectural documentation as required.
• Conduct technical reviews and quality checks before issuing drawings for approval or construction.
• Coordinate with site and project teams to address architectural technical queries and ensure drawings reflect actual site conditions.
• Prepare and review final as-built documentation and architectural handover packages.
• Identify opportunities to improve drawing coordination, technical workflows, and documentation quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in architectural engineering, technical office, or architectural design coordination.
• Proven experience in preparing and reviewing architectural shop drawings, as-built drawings, and construction details.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and good working knowledge of Revit.
• Strong understanding of architectural design principles, construction methods, building materials, and detailing.
• Experience coordinating architectural drawings with structural, MEP, and BIM disciplines.
• Good knowledge of applicable building codes, technical standards, project specifications, and authority requirements.
• Experience reviewing technical drawings, identifying discrepancies, and resolving design coordination issues.
• Familiarity with RFIs, technical submissions, drawing revision control, and project handover documentation.
• Strong analytical, technical review, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communication and coordination skills when working with technical teams and project stakeholders.
