  • Support commissioning, operational acceptance and handover activities for new facilities, expansions and major upgrades.
  • Define and assure operational acceptance criteria, testing requirements and documentation standards to support successful transition into live operations.
  • Serve as the Authorising Engineer (AE) for Electrical Safety Rules, ensuring robust governance, safe systems of work and compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
  • Conduct technical assurance reviews and site audits, identifying opportunities to improve safety, reliability and operational performance.

  • Support development of maintenance methodologies, operational procedures and engineering standards across the portfolio.
  • Identify opportunities to improve electrical efficiency, reduce operational risk and enhance system resilience.
  • Provide technical oversight of vendors, contractors and service providers, ensuring consistency and quality across facilities.
  • Coach and mentor engineers and operational teams, supporting capability development across the EMEA portfolio.

What You’ll Bring

  • Extensive experience working with mission-critical electrical infrastructure, ideally within data centre environments.
  • Experience reviewing and supporting the design of mission-critical electrical systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of MV/LV distribution, UPS systems, generators, protection systems, earthing and electrical monitoring platforms.
  • Strong understanding of electrical safety, operational risk management and resilience within live critical environments.
  • Experience supporting design reviews, commissioning, operational acceptance and technical assurance activities.
  • Proven ability to develop engineering standards, governance frameworks and operational best practices.
  • Strong technical judgement, analytical capability and structured problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence, coach and collaborate effectively across engineering, operations and delivery teams.
  • Degree, HND/HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrable experience.
  • Professional accreditation or chartership is desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal English language skills.
  • Experience working across multiple European markets is advantageous.

What We Offer

  • Work on critical digital infrastructure, supporting the development and operation of some of the world’s most advanced data centre environments.
  • Build your future with STACK, gaining exposure to large-scale projects and clear opportunities for professional growth across a fast-growing European platform.
