Its brands include DeWalt for professional trades, Craftsman, Black+Decker for consumers and Stanley for hand tools, alongside outdoor equipment and industrial fastening systems. Headquartered in New Britain, Connecticut and listed on the New York Stock Exchange, it has spent recent years unwinding an inventory build-up and divesting non-core businesses to restore margins.
