Position Overview
STARK is seeking a self-sufficient Account Manager to run the STARK broadloom offering inside the ABC Boca Raton showroom. This is a hands-on role, blending sales, project management, product expertise, suited to someone who can take a project from initial inquiry through delivery with minimal oversight.
The ideal candidate brings deep broadloom product knowledge, sharp project judgment, a polished, client-first presence within the ABC showroom. You will own the STARK section from quoting through delivery, supported by STARK's systems, sales leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Showroom Management & Product Expertise:
- Manage the STARK section within the ABC Boca Raton showroom.
- Advise on broadloom product, specifications, applications.
Project Scope & Quoting:
- Review floor plans; calculate yardage, layouts, product requirements.
- Prepare pricing, quotes in STARK systems.
Order Processing & Fulfillment:
- Process, manage orders from Calhoun through delivery to the customer.
- Coordinate samples, sample orders, drops, maintenance, project follow-up.
Partnership & Administration:
- Partner with ABC sales associates on customer projects; provide broadloom expertise.
- Maintain organized project records; ensure timely communication across stakeholders.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Broadloom experience strongly preferred.
- Strong product knowledge within flooring, carpet, interiors, a related industry.
- Demonstrated ability to calculate yardage, interpret floor plans.
- Comfortable working independently, managing multiple project details end to end.
- Strong organization, follow-through, communication, problem-solving skills.
- Experience with quoting, order processing, customer or project coordination preferred.
