Firmware Engineer II

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience in engineering automation, scientific computing, simulation software, or test automation.
• Experience developing and maintaining automated software for digital unit testing, regression testing, or engineering validation.
• Experience working with audio signal processing, digital signal processing (DSP), or other real-time signal processing applications in commercial products.
• Experience developing or maintaining MATLAB-based simulation software used to model, validate, or verify product behavior.
• Experience generating automated engineering reports and metrics to support product development, quality assessment, and project milestones.
• Experience developing reusable engineering software, libraries, or frameworks used by other engineers.
• Audio Signal Processing and DSP Fundamentals: Candidates should have hands-on experience in at least three of the following: Audio DSP, speech processing, consumer audio products, and digital audio analysis.
• Strong understanding of at least five of the following: Adaptive Filters, Beamforming, Echo Cancellation, Noise Suppression, Active Noise Cancellation, Dynamic Range Compression, Sample Rate Conversion, Fixed-point DSP.
• Test Automation: The candidate should have professional work experience in at least three of the following: Automated regression testing, test framework development, digital unit test development, automated result analysis, automated report generation, Regression investigation.

Programming:

• Expert-level Python programming language: NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, Pandas, PyTest, object-oriented Python, and automation scripting.
• Expert-level MATLAB programming language.
• Experience developing reusable software libraries.
• Object-oriented software design.
• Data visualization and engineering report generation.
