Logmanager is an established Czech tool for supporting critical IT event management and central machine data management. With more than 300 installations in Czechia, Slovakia, Poland, and other countries, we process billions of logs per week and successfully compete with global players like ArcSight or QRadar.
What will be the content of your job?
Architecture & Design: Co-deciding on the technical architecture and direction of the central GUI and API for our key product Logmanager and other internal applications.
Full-stack development with an emphasis on Frontend: Development of backend services and active co-creation of a modern frontend ecosystem (JavaScript/TypeScript).
End-to-End responsibility: From architectural design through implementation to production deployment.
Technical leadership & Code Review: Setting code standards, leading technical discussions, and mentoring team members.
Solving non-trivial challenges: Innovative approach when working with huge amounts of data and scalable systems.
What do we expect from you?
Advanced knowledge of PHP 8+ and architecture: Knowledge of one of the main PHP frameworks (Symfony, Laravel, Nette, etc.). We are looking for someone who understands OOP principles, design patterns, and clean code regardless of the specific framework.
Strong overlap into Frontend: Experience with modern JavaScript / TypeScript and creating responsive UI (Alpine.js, Tailwind CSS, or other modern frameworks). Ability to design a sustainable frontend architecture.
Ability to make architectural decisions: You can weigh trade-offs, defend your technical solutions, and take full responsibility for them (Accountability).
English is a must (B2): Active use for technical documentation, communication, and preparing the product for foreign markets.
Work with Git and CI/CD: Advanced knowledge of development processes and versioning.
An "ownership" mindset: You don't wait for every detail to be specified, you come up with your own ideas, and you understand the needs of the user/customer.
