We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team. This contractor role is remote and focuses on developing backend services and AI training tasks.

Key responsibilities

  • Create realistic coding tasks for AI models to solve, including feature implementation and bug fixes.

  • Develop and maintain deterministic verifiers that validate AI-generated solutions.

  • Design and build scalable backend services and APIs using Java, Python, Rust, TypeScript, C++, Go, or Node.js.

  • Perform codebase refactoring, debugging, and performance optimization.

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to comprehensive automated testing strategies.

  • Collaborate with the team to improve testing frameworks and raise the overall quality bar.

Required qualifications

  • Strong backend development experience with Java, Python, Rust, TypeScript, C++ or similar languages.

  • Proven track record of building scalable services and APIs.

  • Comfort with debugging, performance tuning, and bug fixing.

  • Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and core computer science concepts.

  • Experience with automated testing, test strategy design, and large test suites.

Nice to have

  • Experience creating AI training tasks or working with AI systems.

  • Familiarity with Go or Node.js backend environments.

  • Excellent analytical and technical communication skills.
