This is a temporary position and there are no leave or retirement benefits offered with this position. This temporary position is located at 431 N. Salisbury Street, Raleigh - Wake County, with Department of Administration.

Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $25.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).

Job duties and responsibilities include but may not be limited to:

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting maintenance malfunctions and system failures.
• Performing preventative maintenance activities
• Maintaining accurate documentation of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Responding to emergency maintenance issues and providing recommendations for equipment replacement or upgrades.
• Other duties assigned

Management Preference:

• General knowledge of Electrical, HVAC, and Plumbing

Minimum Education and Experience

High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and one (1) year of progressive experience in the assigned trade areas; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Necessary Special Qualification May require current certification by the Environmental Protection Agency as a Type I, II, III or Universal technician as required by Title 40, Code of Federal Regulations Part 82, Subpart F.
