What You'll Be Doing
Stifel’s Corporate Accounting Department plays a vital role within the organization, overseeing critical financial functions and ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting. The Payroll Intern within Stifel’s Corporate Accounting Department will gain valuable hands-on experience, develop practical accounting skills, and contribute to overall financial well-being of the organization.
What We're Looking For
- Assist with reviewing payroll information and reports for accuracy.
- Help maintain payroll records and support documentation.
- Support payroll reporting and basic reconciliation activities.
- Assist with gathering and organizing documentation for audits and other department needs.
- Help research payroll questions and resolve basic discrepancies.
- Support various payroll projects and daily administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with Payroll team members and other departments as needed.
What You'll Bring
- Interest in learning about payroll, accounting, and business operations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.

Education & Experience
- Minimum Required: Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accounting or a related field, with at least 1 year of college completed.
Systems & Technology
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
