What You'll Be Doing
Under immediate supervision, the Intern will represent the Platform Strategy and Reporting Services Team by performing a wide variety of complex and confidential administrative duties in support of the functional area. This position will have the opportunity to work in other service areas and develop professionally by contributing to projects that support the business.
What We're Looking For
- Apply academic knowledge to learning new skills by contributing to various projects.
- Research various legal, regulatory, and other topics within the wealth management industry.
- Attend training and development presentations to enhance professional competencies.
- Document required processes for ongoing system support, maintain detailed logs tracking user enhancement requests, participate in requirements gathering for ongoing system updates, and help facilitate user integration and acceptance testing.
- Participate in with the documentation of required processes for ongoing system or service support, organize requirements gathering sessions for ongoing enhancement requests, and own user integration and acceptance testing efforts.
What You'll Bring
- Effective organizational skills with strong attention to detail and an ability to manage time effectively to meet tight deadlines while managing a high volume of requests.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
- Ability to combine small amounts of information to form conclusions or plans.
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
- Effective time management skills and ability to work on a variety of tasks, changing focus throughout the lifecycle of a project.
- Interest in expanding knowledge of the wealth management business, including as it relates to investment products.
Education & Experience
- Minimum Required: High School Diploma or equivalent. Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field.
Systems & Technology
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
