  • Location:Bern, Switzerland (hybrid)

    About Us:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Software Engineer to join our clients dynamic team on a contract basis in Bern, Switzerland. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, expertise in software engineering practices, and a solid understanding of DevOps principles. If you are passionate about creating robust and scalable software solutions while leveraging the latest technologies, we want to hear from you.

    Tasks

    • Develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality Java applications.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
    • Utilize software engineering best practices and DevOps methodologies, including CI/CD, Git, and Kubernetes.
    • Work on various stages of the software development life cycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
    • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code to ensure optimal performance.

    Requirements

    • Strong expertise in Java development.
    • In-depth knowledge of software engineering practices and principles.
    • Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD, Git, and Kubernetes.
    • Proven track record with several years of project experience (ideally 3-5 years).
    • Familiarity with Java Spring and Camunda is advantageous.
    • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

    This is a contract position based in Bern, Switzerland. Only candidates with the right to work in Switzerland will be considered.
